The Author
I’m Marios Tziortzis (Jor-ji-s) a Nicosia, Cyprus based freelance photographer specializing in Portraiture and Conceptual photography. I was born and raised in Cyprus, the third largest island in the Mediterranean. After acquiring a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering and an MSc in Internet computing from the University of Surrey, I moved back to Cyprus where I started working as a freelance web designer and developer. Photography
I started taking photos in the summer of 2006 when I got my first digital camera and ever since it became a hobby of mine. My first camera was a Canon PowerShot A620 and I really loved it! In the summer of 2007 I got my first SLR, a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D) which was an eye opener. In 2010 I got a Canon Digital Rebel T2i (550D) and it made my life a lot easier! In 2012 I decided to go full frame and got a Canon EOS 5D Mark III and started doing this more serious. Currently my gear consists of:
