Ever since I’ve switched to Wordpress, I had to make sure that syndication would not be a problem. I must say Wordpress handles RSS like a charm. It works flawlessly and one couldn’t ask for anything more. Even with the flickr integration and some “htaccess” rules overwritten (thanks Iacovos for that), everything was working great! Recently though I’ve decided to give my feeds some more power. That’s why I’ve now switched to Feedburner!

I was registered with Feedburner for a while now. I tested it out and I was pleased with the results; so pleased I’ve switched my whole RSS support on them. After popular demand, from people who are not that RSS literate, I’ve added ‘Email updates’ support on both photos and blog. Just head over here, and subscribe to receiver updates by email! This was made possible thank to Steve Smith’s Feedburner plugin which it is now officially adopted by Feedburner under a new name, FeedSmith. I had to tweak it a bit though to make it work with my current layout (permalinks and stuff) but it was worth the 3 extra PHP lines I had to write :P
