Well It was the first time I had to go on a long trip using the train so I brought my trusty ol’ pocket PC with me to blog about it. I’m going to Plymouth to visit a friend and stay over for the weekend. It is a 4 hour trip so I guess I have time to scribble down my thoughts. Note that this post will be all about my thoughts and what’s happening around me right now, so expect a lot of random stuff (; It’s too bad my pocket PC doesn’t have a GPRS connection so I can’t upload this post directly. Probably I’ll use my mobile’s Lifeblog feature if I manage to post using that(:
Anyhow my friends sat a couple of seats down the asle so am all alone with a girl that seems to be working on her laptop and on my left there are two families with their young ones. Those kids are really noisy but they are really cute! They guy next to them is complaining for something I didn’t manage to understand cause I got carried away with Damien Rice’s ‘Volcano‘; Yeap that’s what I’m listening now on my Nokia N73. I always bring Damien Rice’s albums with me. This time I brought an also excellent album. It’s called ‘Radio One’s - Live Lounge‘ and I strongly recommend it to everyone. It has some great cover ups. By the way, one of the kids I talked about earlier, just spilled a vodka miniature bottle next to me. Now everything smells like vodka, as if somebody has been drinking!
Now as far as how my university life is going, well I have like four coursework assignments to complete and I only did one. I’m also taking a usability engineering course and it looks interesting since it has to do with designing interfaces and systems that must be usable. Except those assignments, I also have to complete two web projects for two clients of mine and after that, I have to work on the University Cypriot society’s website. It’s going to be Wordpress based so I don’t really worry about that. By the way, just a note to my self; my hands starts to hurt when you’re holding the pocket PC for a while…hmm and now the area smells oranges(; They kids next to me are having their lunch.
Speaking of oranges I just remembered a really funny comedian called Dimitri Martin. He has the kind of humour I like. Well this guy was talking about oranges in one of his bids. He said that they named the oranges after the color and when they discovered carrots it was too late. So instead of calling carrots long pointy thingies they want with…carrots.
Anyhow things started to be really quiet right now so I think I will close my eye and try to get some rest. Just in time when the ‘Pixies’ started singing their really awesome ‘Hey‘. Well that’s all from me..for now. Thanks for listening my random rumblings… Cheers
Update: well I didn’t manage to sleep or to upload this post to my blog. So I’m going to post this when I find a PC
