New Year, New Design

As many of you might know by now, I’ll continue my studies to the University of Surrey, following an MSc degree in Internet Computing. The academic year starts in a few weeks. Since my first design for this site was released almost two years ago, when I first started my BSc course,  I thought it would be nice to start fresh with a new design following some of the current web trends. I’m really pleased with the outcome and really happy to know that people liked it from day one when it was still a PSD file :P . Slight design updates and ‘new year resolution’ results

Well, the academic year is almost over. My graduation is on the 17th of June, just a couple of days after my birthday. Over the last couple of weeks I had my dissertation deadline and two side projects/clients wanting a website. I managed to complete everything though! The two projects will be revealed in due time after their official release. While working on other people’s websites I decided to fix some pending issues on this site. So after a couple late nights, I did some updates that you’d probably have noticed by now. Apart from that, I think I fulfilled my “new year’s resolution” post I posted back on December. Anywho, in case you didn’t catch the updates, here’s the complete list.

Removing the dotted lines around links!

I consider myself a Firefox power user. I have a really tweaked Firefox installation with custom “userChrome.css” files and lots of modifications in the configuration(about:config). All that with a couple of add ons make my browsing better and increase my productivity even more! Still I never stop looking for ways of improving the default Firefox installation. Recently I was having a chat with Ben and he said he didn’t like the dotted blocks when he was browsing my photos. Having that said I had to find a solution. I ended up with a couple of solutions actually!
