Yeap, google can't be ad-free. You can't have everything (:
Regarding the CCS, I'm still working on it from time to time. As for Mr. Masouras, he is just fine. I'll pass him your regards.

Thanks for the comments and for dropping by Andreas

How bout gmail with no google ads?? Not inline with the google revenue model i suppose!
Also i have read an article somewere-think was on digg.com on how you can hack the labels.

So you worked on the CCS member admin? I was goign to do that when i was researching for a dissertation project back in 2004-2005 for my Bsc in Kingston Uni. Didn't go for it in the end. How is my good friend Mr Masouras?

Nice blog!

Hey! Yeah, I am aware of the extension and I do use Firefox. Unfortunately not everybody's using Firefox, so a more global solution would be nice. Still the extension you mentioned does the job right! Thanks for the tip.

Hi

If you use firefox you can get the gmail notifier extension here :

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/173/

It does all the things that Gamil Notifier can do, and no need to install extra software.
