That is so true. That’s why I always have a laptop loaded with Ubuntu (:
As Marilena said though, no OS is perfect. For the time being Mac OS is my “cup of tea” and yeah this list is for making the switch to new Mac users a bit easier.

Ah one more thing, I just wanted to say that no matter what you are using switching to a different OS is not easy, you need to adjust some of your little habits so… I guess that’s where this list comes from in case you want to switch to mac..

I was using linux myself and I was quite happy with it (at least compared to windows) but I did find some limitations and annoyances. Of course it also solved a lot of issues I used to have before. What we can safely assume though is that no OS is perfect, you just need to find the right one for your needs…

That’s exactly why i switched back to Linux from Mac OS X. Too many ugly hacks and third party proprietary software required to tailor the mac to your needs. In Linux all you need is emacs and you can change the universe.
